Barone played in the fourth season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham the chef that wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was a cast member of Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone appeared as Carol Willick Ross Geller in her first Friends episode. She was also married to Carol Willick Ross Geller. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she left for full-time work.
